Aids has now become a super threat for our modern
generation. Day by day the number of aids patient is increasing. So it is very much important to know how do you get
aids?
Actually people do not get aids directly. At first they get
HIV virus in their body and HIV results aids. (Are you confused about HIV? If
yes, please read this article- What is HIV/AIDS.)
HIV virus lives in the fluids of the infected human body
like blood, breast milk, sperm, ovum etc. So any connection with these fluids
of infected person may cause HIV positive ness in your body. And if you are an
HIV positive person then you will get aids soon, because AIDS is later stage of
HIV.
You may also get HIV/AIDS in your body in many ways. Most
common and important reasons are given bellow. Please read carefully.
Body fluids:
If you want to know how HIV virus passes one person to
another through human fluids you have to know what fluids of human body contain
HIV virus. HIV virus lives in blood, sperm, ovum and breast milk. So direct
connection with these fluids of an infected person can cause you AIDS. If you make
a sexual relation with an aids affected person you may get HIV virus through
his/her sperm/ovum and even vagina fluids. Now you may ask –‘Does another fluid
of body like nasal fluids, saliva, tears, urine or vomit and sweat contains HIV
virus?’ That’s a common question. The answer is-‘HIV infected people’s nasal
fluids, saliva, tears, urine or vomit and sweat does not contain enough viruses
to infect you unless they have mixed with the blood, sperm, ovum and breast
milk of an infected person.’ So be careful before making a direct connection
with these fluids. Otherwise it may bring HIV virus to your body that will
result AIDS.
Sexual contact:
Direct sexual contact with an infected person can bring HIV
virus to your body and it will cause you aids. Any type of sexual contact with
an HIV positive person like oral, vagina, anal sex can cause you HIV/AIDS. You
must need to know that any AIDS/HIV+ patient can spread his or her HIV virus
just by attempting only one sexual connection with others. So be careful while attempting
any kind of sexual connection. Always use condom.
Blood transfusion or organ transplant:
If you take any HIV
positive person’s blood in your body you will get AIDS soon. Any organ like kidney,
eye transplant of any HIV infected person to your body may cause you HIV/AIDS.
So be careful while taking other’s blood. Be sure that the blood is HIV free.
Injection used for taking drug:
HIV virus can also spread by injection needles. Using same
injection needle to push medicine in many patients’ body can spread HIV/AIDS.
So every doctor should use a new injection needle every time to push medicine
in a patient’s body. Many drug takers are seen using same injection needles to
take drugs among them. So it is risky for health. Using same injection may
spread HIV virus among them. So be careful when you take medicine or drug. Use
a new injection needle every time you push medicine in your body by a doctor.
Breast feeding to baby:
Every mother has a constant relation with her baby. So it is
possible to pass HIV virus from mother’s body to baby’s body during pregnancy. HIV
virus can also pass from mother’s body to baby’s body through breast feeding
(as HIV remains in breast milk). So aids infected women should not make any
sexual relation with others be pregnant also.
